2022 Retirement Commission Report

The 2022 3 yearly report to Government recently released. See below link.

In reaction to National Party  Leader Luxon comments, I had this letter published by The Press

National party leader Christopher Luxon, came to office, stating he would adopt an evidence-based approach to issues. He is not applying that approach to the age of entitlement to Superannuation, with all the evidence saying this is an excellent scheme, very sound public policy, internationally recognized as a top-quality scheme, and one of the cheapest and most effective retirement policy platforms in the OECD. Longevity trends are now starting to reduce, Obesity, and chronic illness on the increase, and he needs to read line by line the Retirement Commissioners 2022 report. Right wing parties are never friends to the retirement consumer, usually cutting and reducing, so the wealthy can further benefit. Be wary of both Luxon and Seymour (Act leader) they are wolves in sheep’s clothing.
