The Retirement Commissioner at the Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income is Diane Maxwell.
Diane Maxwell has been appointed Retirement Commissioner at the Commission for Financial Literacy and Retirement Income for a three year term beginning 1 July 2013. Diane has been the Interim Commissioner on secondment from the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) since March 2013.
At the FMA, she was Head of Stakeholder Management providing strategic and operational management of communications, media and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this, Diane was Head of Brand and Corporate Affairs at Bank of New Zealand.
Her previous roles have included Partner at Michaelides and Bednash in London, Media Director at Saatchi and Saatchi New Zealand, and as a trans-Tasman consultant delivering research and analysis for the banking, media and telecommunications sectors.
