An excellent article and a repeat of many a fine piece of research reported by RPRC in Auckland.
I wonder though why the words by such an informed body continue to go unheeded by the NZ Government who is the only power that can bring about the long overdue reform of NZS. Until this has been carried out there is little hope for the DDP and Spousal Deduction Policy ever being reviewed.
Thanks Jan,
Policy making in NZ has become very haphazard- who can scream the loudest, not which policy is the most rational and equitable. Lets hope this time its different.
