Does the UK’s reform of pensions have lessons for New Zealand?

Who: Keynote speakers:Dr Alison O’Connell, Consultant and policy adviser, and Ms Diane Maxwell, Retirement Commissioner.

Abstract: The UK’s pension system, once the most complicated in the world, is about to become surprisingly like New Zealand’s single tier of public age pension and auto-enrolment into private pensions. The UK reforms include increases to the qualifying age for the age pension and major efforts to raise the quality of workplace pensions.
