ASB’s artice as many others which have been published in the wake of the Government’s ambitious Superannuation plans fails to address a very serious issue for almost 90,000 should be recipients of NZS.
To suggest NZS recipients are not asset or means tested is false. $400m is being deducted annually from NZ residents and citizens who have overseas pensions. Most of these are state managed but are comprised of employer/employee contributions not unlike Kiwi saver
This article from ASB is glossing over major issues.
