Health. Senior years ill health!

Kaspanz has consistently raised the issue  that “quality of life” in senior years is the primary  issue,  rather than emphasising individual longevity is trending upwards every decade .

United Kingdom, and Australian research is showing increasing ailments like diabetes and dementia are  on the rise,  ill health, off setting any longevity impacts  for individuals living  a couple of years longer.

Commentators  often quote “working well into the 70’s”  could be the new norm, when this option is restricted to the educated, those who are healthy, fit and able,  and surrounded by rampant ageism bias.  The opportunity for realistic employment opportunity post 65 is a myth for most new Zealanders.
