Aged Care Funding

The NZ model has been broken for a long time, and the political parties avoid addressing the issue.

Various Reviews take place, and then are shelved. A new one has just emerged ( see below), reflecting a similar approach to the Aussies, the wealthy will pay more, but no maximum cap?

The Aussies conducted a full “Royal Commission” on the topic, followed by 2025 policy and we mirror their situation. In one sentence, Aussie said the more wealthy will have to pay more, but a cap with maximums to apply.
